Reading… The Seamstress by Sara Tuval Bernstein

Listening… an old Blink 182 mix CD I found

Watching… many movies: The Wolf of Wall Street, Anchorman 2, About Time, Rush, and American Hustle

Eating… pork roast with potatoes, carrots, & corn – great crock pot dinner for winter

Playing… Dots and Pirates v.s. Ninjas

Looking… forward to setting up my elliptical/bike exercise machine combo, meeting with a dietitian later this month, and completing MRT testing for food sensitivities – 2014 is the year I get my gut back on track (both inside & out).

Thankful… for good friends, family, + coworkers

Nervous… about doing our taxes myself this year – any advice/suggestions? What software program do you guys use?

Happy… to have so many fun things lined up for this month – seeing the BNW’s holiday show and BCT’s production of the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee musical, attending my company’s holiday party as well as Mr.C’s, along with movie dates, game nights, and whatever other excitement comes along the way

Ready… for the warmer weather that’s promised later this week. It’s been very chilly recently thanks to the deep freeze that’s sweeping across the Midwest. We saw -20°F today with wind chills at night reaching -40° to 55°.

So that’s me…what’s current with you all?

Have a great week & stay warm,

    • thanks! as for the movies. well…..

The Wolf of Wall Street – fantastic! great acting, great story. exactly what’d expect from Leo & Martin Scorsese. lots of swearing, nudity, and drugs though if you’re bothered by those elements.

Anchorman 2 – funny, over the top outrageous just like usual. i’d wait to rent it though.

About Time – very sweet, predictable, but i liked the story and was a new twist on time travel and human experience. perfect sunday afternoon movie.

Rush – eh, i’d pass. just wasn’t very good/interesting could’ve not been my type of movie either. but the acting was just fine.

American Hustle – okay. the acting was superb, the story and movie as a whole was just “eh”.
