weekend review

This weekend Mr.C & I…

spent Thanksgiving back in Illinois with our families.

We slept in, ate + laughed a lot, played games, watched The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, checked out a new antique shop nearby, laughed at how much colder it was there than in MN, and spotted a candy-colored sunset.

Mr.C’s mom surprised him with an early Christmas gift…. a new jersey & tickets to the Bears/Vikings game on Dec. 1!

Mr.C & I had a blast at the game even though the Bears lost (who tries a 47 yard field goal on a 2nd down in OT?!). It was our first NFL game and quite exciting so no hard feelings. We can’t wait to attend another one sometime!
