This weekend Mr.C & I…

went away with Jen & Ryguy for a couples weekend at the North Shore.

Friday afternoon we stopped a Tobies to grab dinner before making our way to Isabella, MN, where we’d rented a cabin. We were greeted by crisp fall air, changing leaves, and a faint rainbow!

Friday night we met our neighbors next door, played cards, and stayed up way too late.

Saturday we slept in, took Dexter the pup for a walk, made a quick trip to Gooseberry Falls, and then spent time relaxing since a rainstorm drove us inside. Once the rain stopped we grilled out and played Cribbage.

Sunday we started the drive back home but not before stopping in Two Harbors / Duluth to see the sights.

First up was Split Rock Lighthouse.

It was a whirlwind weekend for sure and despite the weather we were still able to do + see quite a bit!

Mr.C & I can’t wait to go to the North Shore again – Lake Superior and the surrounding area have definitely captured our hearts.

Hope you all had a great weekend too!

  1. Wow! Can I just say how absolutely jealous I am of your weekend? It sounds like it was SO much fun. A beautiful cabin, good food and drinks, good friends, and the most gorgeous scenery. I love the pictures, seems like a blast!

Have a great week girlfriend. xo
