weekend review

This weekend Mr.C and I…

spent Saturday doing chores, hanging out, and staring at each other across the couch as we consumed episode after episode of our newest TV obsessions (“Spartacus” & “Game of Thrones” for the Mr.C, “Revolution” for me). We also made homemade chicken nuggets with oven roasted potatoes and green beans for dinner.

Sunday we grocery shopped before geocaching the afternoon away along the Cardinal Creek trails. We ended up finding 4 caches! (Some are tiny like the one pictured above while others are stashed in peanut butter jars, altoid tins, old film canisters, etc.)

It’s always a lot of fun – and we can’t wait until it’s a little warmer so we can really step up our searching!

P.S. I know a lot of you have never geocached before (or maybe never even heard of it) – so I plan to write a tutorial soon!

hope you all had a wonderful weekend + have a great week ahead!

  1. Glad to see the “mid air jump” picture is back! I think it may be your signature ~ Miss you guys! We shall see you in a couple weeks

    • haha I know what you mean!

I’ll be posting a Intro to Geocaching post tonight so come back and check it out! :) It’s quite easy to do as long as you have either a GPS or a smartphone. You can start in minutes!

    • it’s a great time! you should really give it a shot. I’ll be posting an “Intro to Geocaching” later tonight if you’d like to come back and check it out.

    • yes yes, GMA said that when we come down to visit we should see if there are any around MtC – I even said if there aren’t a ton we should hide our own cache down there :)
