Mr.C & I celebrated the last night of 2012 at Buca di Beppo, a fabulous Italian restaurant down the street from us.
We started off with Mozzarella garlic bread dipped in Buca’s signature marinara sauce,
followed by family style entrées of Spicy Chicken Rigatoni (tender chicken sauteed with garlic + red pepper, tossed with peas, rigatoni pasta, and a spicy rosa sauce) + Penne San Remo (sun-dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts, peas, and chicken tossed with penne pasta and a white wine cream sauce),
and finally finishing it all off with Italian Creme Cake (six layers of rich lemon cake + mascarpone cheese filling served with raspberry-hazelnut sauce and topped with fresh whipped cream and a mint sprig).
Drooling?! Yeah, us too. Thank god for leftovers…
