↺flashback

Wanted to do a fun post for a change – so I decided to take a little walk down memory lane & I’ve come to the conclusion that some things never change!

and here’s the proof….

Evidence #1:

I will forever be a pose-y diva when I wear my sunnies

left: early high school --- right: early college

Evidence #2:

Acting silly with weird food in your mouth will always be hilarious

Evidence #3:

My go-to “oh you’re taking my picture?!” face has apparently been this for ages…

left: middle school ----- right: college grad

left: middle school ————————————————————– right: college grad

Evidence #4:

Sticking your tongue out never gets old

left: high school graduation ---- right: 1 yr+ outta college

Evidence #5:

Good friends + fashion choices are (clearly) unshakeable

left: middle school —————————————————————- right: early college

Evidence #6:

A smile is the best accessory

left: middle school --- middle: college freshman ---- right: married lady

Evidence #7:

If ever you are unsure of what to do…. jump!

It’s fun, freeing, and makes for an awesome photo opp.

  1. Haha, these are great. I love flashback posts. I need to do one one of these days.
I can agree with you on fashion choices. I’ve even found some of things I wore a year or two ago that I’m like “why did I wear that again?!”

    • haha so true!! and i finally got rid of this ugly sweater i’ve had for years. i’d pull it out, feel like trash wearing it all day, wonder why the heck i bought it in the first place, then throw it on my closet, only to pull it out again months later and completely forget i kept meaning to get rid of it. vicious cycle.

p.s. you should definitely do a flashback post!!

      • Haha, that’s hilarious. Definitely a horrible cycle to get into. I guess I’ve done that, too. I’ve done that with a few shirts that had holes in the armpits, but somehow I kept forgetting that they did each time I wore them. I’ve got it now, haha.

  2. Too funny! I feel like I have a lot of the same pictures in my childhood collection as well. I love your jumping pictures though! :)

    • Thanks – jumping photos are kinda my thing now ;) I’d love for other people to do this kind of post, it’s fun to see photos from 10+ years apart, side by side.

p.s. awesome blog name. my husband’s always asking me if i want a little water with my cup of ice! love ice…
