This weekend Mr.C & I …
scored this lovely mid-century modern coffee table + nesting stools on Craigslist (yes, it does have one tiny water/white heat mark, but that is easily fixed…according to google & pinterest),
made some tasty tacos,
continued our That 70’s Show marathon,
dropped off donations at Goodwill,
saw Breaking Dawn Part 2, the final film in the Twilight Trilogy. No spoilers here – but I will say it was good, probably better than the others, was creatively planned, and featured credits that were a nice tribute to the hard work of all those who made these films possible, both on and off screen,
tried to distract ourselves from thinking about this coming Wednesday – when Mr.C finds out if he’ll be promoted to the 2nd Shift Lead position,
played a few games of Words With Friends aka Scrabble (check out Mr.C’s awesome 111 pt word!)
planned our trip home for Thanksgiving + laughed heartily at SNL’s hilarious “Hometown Tourism Ad” which perfectly captures what millions of Americans will be experiencing this holiday season,
spent time getting our financial records + past budgets in order in preparation for first financial fitness/planning session with Coach Dave (more on that later),
now we’re snuggled up on the futon, just counting down the hours ’til Walking Dead is on!
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
