weekend review

This weekend Mr.C & I…

made delicious beef stew in the crock pot,

cleaned the apartment and rearranged the living room,

scored a $10 Groupon good for 2 games of bowling each + 2 shoe rentals,

hit the lanes with our couple pals, N + B,

then stayed up late playing euchre,

spent Sunday afternoon apart so Mr.C could watch the Chicago Bears win

and I could go thrifting with my Minnesota Blogger Gals,

Lauren from Our Crazy Ever After + Zhenya from Being Zhenya.

p.s. how sweet is this table I found?!

it totally goes with our other mid-century modern furniture,

plus you gotta love hidden storage!

so there ya go – how we spent the last (lovely) weekend of October!

xo, meg

  1. LOVE the new blog look. :) As always! We are creatures of change.

As for the table…it’s hard to tell how big it is, but I’m fairly certain it’s a piano bench. :) Do you think? My piano benches folded up for storage for my piano books!

    • thanks! haha i looooove change, well especially when it’s design/decor related. :)

i thought about the piano bench but it seemed a bit too small to be one…. i’ll have to do some research!

      • well thanks for confirming! i guess i just thought it was too tiny/tall(high) to be a piano bench. but then again i’m not familiar with piano benches either :)

    • thanks – it is gorgeous, a few tiny scratches on the top but otherwise it’s in great condition. a few other people mentioned piano bench which makes sense. but to me it just seems to small/tall to be one – but maybe for that decade it’s not? i need to do some more research!
